Looking
from a vantage point downstream, one can see what they're in for. From top
to bottom, it takes about 18 to 20 seconds in a white water raft.
Needless to say, the portage trail is a bit wider here. Earlier in the season, when the water is higher, their is an alternate canoe route on a bypassing stream.

left 90 degrees, we see the lower end of the pot island that separates the
waterfall from the rapids.
Obviously, this picture was taken after a few "victory cocktails". |

Looking
left again downstream, it's easy to see that the scenery doesn't stop
here.
These views of the Clearwater river in northern Saskatchewan are just a sample of the raw beauty of its' ever changing terrain. |
